Keeper of Tides

“Keeper of Tides” — a sculpture from “the Beings of Passage” series.

“The Beings of Passage” explore moments of change — when we leave behind what is familiar and learn to trust what lies ahead. Each Being offers quiet companionship through the unknown, reminding us that we do not have to navigate change alone. Perhaps the most beautiful shores are the ones we have not yet learned to imagine.

“Keeper of Tides” carries a small traveller across unseen waters. A Being in a boat, accompanied by a delicate flower, it speaks of movement, trust and the shores still waiting to be discovered.

Each sculpture comes with a handwritten note describing its essence and the role it carries.

Handmade from light-coloured clay, decorated with engobes, finished with a transparent glossy glaze and fired at 1200°C.

The sculpture consists of a Being in a boat and a flower companion.

Carefully protected with corrugated cardboard and paper — completely plastic-free.

Each piece is made entirely by hand. Small traces and variations resulting from the making process are a natural part of handmade ceramics and make each sculpture one of a kind.
